Stephen Wall, Mike Wiley and Rachel Zielinski have been honored
with Zumby awards for their outstanding work with EbzB Productions.
In a ceremony held September 19th, 2004, the theatrical artists were honored
for their talent, professionalism, integrity, good humor and outstanding
achievement in the field of touring theatre.
Presiding at the awards ceremony was David zum Brunnen, co-founder and producer
of EbzB Productions, a professional touring theatre organization created
to develop theatrical works that promote integrity, self-discovery and positive
transformation of individuals, artists, audiences, and communities.
zum Brunnen read anecdotes from the artists' careers and congratulated each
one personally. "I want our artists to know how deeply they are appreciated
for the work they do, not only for our company, but for the audiences and
communities that also benefit from our work. This honor is a mere representation
of EbzB Productions' true gratitude.

Stephen Wall
ZUMBY AWARD FOR:
ACTOR ~ THE WRIGHTS OF PASSAGE, EbzB Productions
Stephen Wall has appeared on stages across the nation - most recently in
the national tours of Anne Frank - Diary of a Young Girl, and The Best Christmas
Pageant Ever. In addition to his national tour credits, Stephen has
appeared with the acclaimed professional regional company, Burning Coal Theatre,
based in Raleigh, North Carolina. Among the highlights of his regional
credits - Paul in the musical Company, Medvedenko in The Notebook of Trigorin,
Bobby in Cabaret, and Hero in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.
His numerous musical credits also include She Loves Me, Anything Goes, Cinderella,
and The Robber Bridegroom. He has performed and served as spokesperson
with such organizations as the NC Museum of Natural History, the 2000 Raleigh
International Festival, and the 1999 Special Olympics.
Mike Wiley
ZUMBY AWARD FOR:
ACTOR ~ BROWN VS. BOARD OF EDUCATION, EbzB Productions
Mike is from Roanoke, Virginia. He is a graduate of Catawba College and recently
completed his M.F.A with the Professional Actor Training Program at the University
of North Carolina Chapel Hill. While in attendance at UNC, Mike was
the recipient of the Graduate Education Advancement Board's Impact Award
for Dramatic Art - Inspiring Underprivileged Youth Through Historical Plays.
Mike is the author of two one-man touring plays entitled, One Noble Journey
and Jackie Robinson: A Game Apart. He has performed both original works at
colleges and universities throughout the country and has appeared in several
regional theaters such as Mill Mountain Playhouse, Playmakers Repertory Company
and the Shenandoah Shakespeare Express. Mike is an Upward Bound /Talent Search
alumnus and has made numerous appearances in high schools and auditoriums
with outstanding arts groups such as Richmond, Virginia's Theatre IV which
is professional theatre company for young audiences. He was also bestowed
the Upward Bound Trio Achiever award for the state of Virginia as well as
the Mid-Atlantic Educational Opportunities Programs.
Rachel Zielinski

Rachel is from Cleveland, Ohio. She graduated from Syracuse University in
drama with a minor in chemistry. Rachel has worked with Great Lakes Theater
Festival, Burning Coal Theatre Company, Manbites Dog Theater and the Festival
of the Eno.
